Stepfuser, quadratic residue sound diffuser with improved bandwidth

The Stepfuser is an improved version of the classic QRD diffusor. The combination of two nested diffusor systems enhances the efficiency: a much larger bandwidth and an optimal frequency response. The working of the Stepfuser in two steps can be compared to a coaxial speaker: one part diffuses low and mid frequencies, the other part high frequencies. When placed alternately horizontally and vertically, the sound can be diffused bidimensionally.
