The person responsible for processing your personal data is Sonogamma.

Sonogamma attaches great importance to your privacy. We are therefore acting in accordance with the Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter also referred to as the ‘Regulation’) and this Privacy Statement.

We care about our customers and like to work on quality customer service according to the specific interests and wishes of our customers. We would like to invite you to keep your customer data in your customer profile up to date by sending an e-mail to That way, we can keep you informed of what is important to you.

3. Legal Basis of the Processing of Your Data

Personal data will be processed on the basis of Article 6.1 of the Regulation. More specifically, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent (a), because it is necessary for the execution of an agreement (b), because it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (c) or because it is necessary for the representation of a legitimate interest (f).

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. (a) consent, you always have the right to withdraw the given consent.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

To manage our customer relations in general and to meet our customer commitments, Sonogamma needs information about you in your role as customer contact person or user of a service. The purposes of processing this personal data are:

  1. the correct functioning of the website;
  2. the analysis of your visit to the website;
  3. sending newsletters, brochures, magazines, service e-mails and customer satisfaction surveys;
  4. maintaining relations;
  5. the processing of requests and orders for goods and services and the associated processing and further follow-up;
  6. job applications: applicants’ personal data will only be used for recruitment and selection purposes and not for marketing purposes.

5. What Data Do We Process

5.1 Personal Data That You Share With Us

In order to receive our newsletters, magazines or brochures or to be able to apply for a job on, you will be asked to fill in a number of personal details. After registration, we may also request additional information to help us deliver even more customized services. The processing of this data is necessary in order to enable Sonogamma to deliver your order or to process your question. 

In addition, we record your contact details when you contact us, for example when sending us an e-mail with questions, reviews or complaints.

Sonogamma may process the following personal data:

  • Surname and name
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • IP address
  • Information about your activities on our websites
  • Payment history
  • Order data
  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by entering your e-mail address on our website, in correspondence and by telephone.

In the case of job applications, only the following information will be taken into consideration:

  • Surname and name
  • E-mail and postal address
  • Phone number
  • Details of the applicant’s level of education and experience

5.2 Sharing Information With Social Networking Sites

The social networking features on the Sonogamma website allow you to share information (e.g. articles). In addition, Sonogamma’s website may contain social plug-ins, including those offered by Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn, so that you can share information on these platforms. Because these plug-ins are run by the social networks themselves, they are subject to their terms of use and privacy policy. Sonogamma has no control over how these plug-ins are managed by these social networks. We encourage you to read their terms of use and privacy and cookie policies before using these plug-ins.

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that is attached to certain web pages by the website and is stored by your browser. We only use Google Analytics cookies to consult anonymized usage statistics of this website.

6. How You Can Influence the Data Processing

6.1 Right of Access, Correction, Restriction, Deletion, Portability of Data and Objection, Request for Copy

You are always entitled to inspect your personal details and you can correct them (or have them corrected) at any time if you find them to be incorrect or incomplete, you can have their processing restricted, you can ask for your personal details to be deleted and you can object to the processing of relevant personal details on the basis of Article 6.1 (e) or (f), including profiling on the basis of those provisions. In addition, you have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data.

6.2 Restrictions on the Use of Personal Data for Marketing Purposes

As a customer or important client, we would like to keep you informed. To this end we regularly send you information about our products and activities that may concern you, both on paper and electronically.

  • Electronic newsletters: We send newsletters when you register or when you are an important contact of Sonogamma. At the bottom of the newsletters you can indicate your preferences if you wish. You can, at any time, object free of charge to further use of your personal data for marketing purposes via a link in the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to   

7. Storing Data

Personal data is stored in a highly secured data centre managed by the supplier of the used (ticketing / IT / planning / HR) system. Under no circumstances can this supplier make use of your personal data.

If you are no longer an active customer of Sonogamma, Sonogamma will no longer use your data for sending promotions (newsletters). Sonogamma will, even afterwards, sporadically use your data (location) for statistical purposes. In addition, we may continue to keep certain records in order to comply with a legal obligation. However, you always have the right to remove these personal details.

In case of job applications, the personal data will be stored in Sonogamma’s database until 1 year after the application.

8. Data Security

Sonogamma will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

9. Provision to Third Parties

We may share the information you provide to us with third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described above.

For example, we consult third parties for:

  • taking care of the internet environment (web hosting)
  • the provision of IT infrastructure (including IT network …)

Sonogamma will, of course, make the necessary arrangements with these parties (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data.

Furthermore, we will not pass on the provided data to third parties, unless this is required by law or you explicitly consent to this. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing.
