Calme, the acoustic wall panels made of 100% sintered porous aluminium, set the tone in the recently-opened new pavilion. In a transparent design supporting clear circulation, the aluminium look of the Calme panels is continued in the stairwells, lifts, furniture and lightning.

The visual joints between the Calme panels highlight the modulation that is repeated in the floor and ceiling. The Calme panels are installed using near invisible screws The corners are protected with matching aluminium corner profiles.

" The choice of material is a fundamental step in the design process. One of the bottlenecks with regard to this project was the finishing of the large transit zones at the different levels through which you can access the expo rooms. Calme immediately attracted my attention: the material not only looks beautiful, but it also feels nice because of its special texture.

The acoustic performance of Calme gives an essential comfort to rooms that are visited every day by thousands of people. The unobtrusive character of the material, along with  its high quality and elegance, convinced us to use it and this to our great satisfaction. "
