Justice done to acoustics
The District Court of Lorient was thoroughly renovated blending the needs of a contemporary court into an ancient building.
Stringent acoustic requirements were met by a judicious choice of the finishing materials with the right expression.
In the small auditorium, Calme, the microporous sound absorber in sintered aluminium, was applied on the ceiling, the walls and partitions as well as the furniture, bringing coherence and balance.
